No More Pain
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4)
This world is a place of suffering. Our lives are often spent in hours, days, and even years of suffering and pain.
Many people are daily acquainted with intense pain. How can we possibly cope?
Our God promises an eternity free from tears, death, sorrow, and pain. We have hope of a pain free existence before us. This is what kept Jesus true to his path of sacrifice of for us: "...who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross..." (Hebrews 12:2)
All this may seem like small comfort to those currently enduring pain. Pain seems to overshadow all other thoughts, all other pursuits, and shout over the good news of our coming redemption.
So then, in our pain, let's cry out to Jesus and praise our heavenly Father, who will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
