The Tent of Meeting

Every day Moses would go to a tent outside the camp of the Israelites. It was called the tent of meeting, because there Moses would meet with God. Everyone knew when Moses was in the tent because the cloud of God's presence would descend upon the tent and 'the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.'

Afterwards, the face of Moses would shine, having been in the presence of the Lord.

We are likewise called to come apart from others and go meet God regularly. Jesus said "when you pray, go into your closet and shut the door and pray to your Father in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly."

Like Moses, your face will shine: your countenance will be improved by this encounter with God; your spirit and disposition will be lifted up; your attitude will be changed for the better.
Erect a tent of meeting with God; go there regularly and begin to see your life change!
